Midi beds with storage are typically lower than high-sleepers and have a ladder or staircase that is shorter making them ideal for smaller rooms. They take a single UK mattress and add a range of useful pieces underneath. Many of our midi cabin beds are offered in multiple colour finishes so you can select the one that suits your child's room most. Some take it even more than that and come with the option of custom storage units. The desk can be moved between two units via wheels. There are four drawers of storage, and two cupboards that have doors. The Eli F takes it to the next level with doors that match the color of the foot and headboards.
The Luna low line loft bed or the midi storage bed is small and packed with everything you require including a ladder that can be turned into a desk that slides across the floor on wheels, a three drawer chest and cabinet, all included. It's important to note that many midi loft beds that have desks require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with wooden slatted bases. This isn't included in the cost of the bed, therefore we recommend taking a look at our fantastic mattress deals to find a price that suits your budget!

Mattress
Most midi beds can accommodate standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk is equipped with the safety rail to give you extra peace of mind. Some models feature a pull-out trundle drawer that can be used for sleepovers or to create additional storage space underneath the bed. These can either be open or have doors (please look at the product's details for more details).
A lot of midi cabins have a desk that can be moved from one level to the next or chests. This gives children a customized space to store all their belongings, and that there's no need to take precious floor space with heavy shelving units or wardrobes.
Some models have gone a step further by having cabinets that are flush mounted or even a part of the headboard or footboard. This is ideal for storage of books and toys.
